needs repairing,
construction could take

to complete the project.

Orange cones,
worker drones,
union strikes,
road spikes,
double takes,
coffee breaks . . .

. . . but less than a year ago,
a local Chinese buffet burned down
and seemingly overnight
a fast food joint
has taken its place.

The city gives us
plenty of places to go
but precious few ways
to get there.
