When I saw Dell Publishing's 1962 Look and Learn Spanish recently, I had to have it -- not because I really want to learn Spanish (though that might be a pleasant side effect), but because Aliki Brandenberg's little illustrations are the most charming slice-of-life instructions I've ever seen. I just had to share them.
Here's a double dose to celebrate Groundhog Day, with images for winter and spring, just to cover our bases.
That kid is really happy, considering her mom is carrying the dog through the snow.
