I posted a piece about Southern California's latest rash of car chases at my LiveJournal, and I outlined the three stages I'd experience psychologically if I were in the driver's seat, and during another chase last night, a commentator listed those same three stages! I didn't do any research or anything, so . . . either I'm a criminal science genius, or that mentality is more common knowledge than I thought. As I assumed, everyone's on the run from something.
